Angel M. Rodriquez

Acquisition Program Management Division, U.S.Department of Homeland Security


Mr. Rodriguez currently works at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Acquisition Program Management Division.  He leads a Department-wide Decision Support Initiative that addresses the DHS Major Acquisition portfolio. He has 36 years experience in acquisition management. This consist of 9 years at Private Industry in various leadership positions to include Senior Project Manager at MITRE Corp., Senior Business Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, and Director, Program Management Office, Defense Global Integrated Services at UNYSIS Corporation.  He also had a successful 24-years career as an Officer in the United States Air Force.  In this profession, he had various assignments as Commander, Program Director, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Cost Analysis.

Mr. Rodríguez is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of Puerto Rico, Masters of Science in Business from Troy State University, and a Masters in Cost Analysis from the Air Force Institute of Technology.  He’s also a graduate from the Professional Military Comptroller School (PMCS), the Program Management School, Defense Systems Management College, at Fort Belvoir, and participated in the Senior Leadership and Management Fellowship “The Senior Seminar” at the State Department.
