Ben Marglin

Mr. Marglin, a Principal with Booz Allen Hamilton, has over 14 years of professional experience in business and IT strategy consulting. His focus areas include IT portfolio management (PfM) and capital planning and investment control (CPIC), IT governance, IT strategic planning, and enterprise architecture (EA). He has experience in providing services to public Chief Information Officers (CIO) in both the Federal and State government markets and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Mr. Marglin has provided CPIC support to several Federal agencies, including HHS, GSA, OPM, DOL, and HRSA and has extensive experience in the development and execution of CPIC programs including policy and procedures, guidance, analytical frameworks, training, and governance models. Mr. Marglin also participates in Booz Allen's IT Strategy Center of Excellence, focusing on development of new intellectual capital in several areas including IT Strategic Planning and IT Portfolio Management. Prior to joining Booz Allen, Mr. Marglin worked with another consulting firm focusing on organizational redesign and business process reengineering for state government human service agencies. Mr. Marglin also previously worked in the U.S. Senate and in the HHS Budget Office. He received his bachelor's degree from Colby College and his Master's in Public Policy from Duke University.
