Director, Lifecycle Management Division

Laurence Brewer is the Director of the Life Cycle Management Division in the Modern Records Program at the National Archives and Records Administration in College Park, Maryland.  Laurence oversees the scheduling and appraisal of Federal records and has a leadership role in developing records management regulations and guidance; supporting records management training for employees across the Federal Government; and evaluating the effectiveness of records management programs in Federal agencies.  Prior to joining NARA, Mr. Brewer was a records management contractor responsible for managing records management programs at the Environmental Protection Agency and the Virginia Department of Transportation.  He has more than 20 years experience in records and information management and earned his Certified Records Manager designation in 1998.
