Mr. Mike Parker is the ACIO for the Strategy & Planning organization. This newly formed organization will ensure that IT products and services advance IRS strategic goals and provide greatest value. The scope of which includes strategic planning, capital planning and investment control, IT portfolio prioritization, performance measures, financial planning and execution, vendor/contract management and requirements/demand management processes, tools and procedures. Mr. Parker’s tenure at the IRS has spanned over 19 years and he has held several executive positions including Director of Capital Planning and Investment Control and Director of IT Security. He also served at the Department of Treasury for approximately 7 years. At the Department, Mr. Parker held several executive positions including the Deputy CIO for the Department. He began his 33 years of Federal Service at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
