Teresa Allison, PMP, CGEIT Federal CPIC Forum Teresa Allison is currently Senior Information Technology Consultant at High Performance Technologies Inc. HPTi is a technology services firm that is headquartered in Reston, VA. It achieved revenues of nearly $75 million in 2008 and employs over 320 professionals. The company specializes in providing computational science, program management, software development, and systems engineering services. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Principal Consultant for Portfolio Management with Fujitsu America at the Department of Homeland Security where she reviewed a portfolio of roughly 348 investments totaling $6.3 billion. Tracked planned expenditures, performance goals and actuals, earned value management, security compliance, privacy compliance, contracts, enterprise architecture alignment, project management certification and business case scores. Reviewed business cases and coached project managers. Ms. Allison has led Capital Planning and Investment Control efforts for two Federal agencies, TSA ($1.3 Billion in investments) and USAID ($68 Million in investments). Conducted reviews for Business Cases and performed scoring for Exhibit 300s. Managed efforts to produce executive briefings, Agency Budget Narratives, Congressional Budget Narratives (CBJ), Congressional Budget Notifications (CBN), as well as compiled data for Agency, OMB and GAO reports. She has provided consulting expertise to Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration, Customs and Border Patrol, Department of Transportation, Department of Health and Human Services, Veteran’s Health Administration, Department of State, US Agency for International Development, Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, and Social Security Administration. Ms. Allison received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Xavier University in 1993. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University’s H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy with a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management with a concentration in Management of Information Systems in 1999. Teresa Allison received a Master Certificate in Project Management from ESI International and George Washington University in 2003. She possesses a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is has received her Certification in the Governance of Enterprise Information Technology (CGEIT) from the Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA). She serves as member of the Federal CPIC Forum Advisory Board where she is leading efforts to develop a Federal CPIC Certification and promotes the sharing of best practices within the CPIC profession.
